Job Purpose
The principal purpose of this position is to support Plant Quality Managers with project execution of high payback / priority projects as well as ensuring a safe introduction of new or batteries transferred from other factories.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafe launch
Responsible for Safe Launch activities for new TPPL products (NPI’s) as well as product transfers between facilities. Support Advanced Quality with internal PPAP development. Review results of Advanced Quality and Engineering documentation (factory control plans, DFMEA) and test results (DVP&R reports vs. regulatory or customer requirements) for final signoff. Generate procedure for factories to initiate test plans, starting at SOP, to gradually release shipments. Employ and update PFMEA as risks are reduced post validation and safe launch testing.
