Quality Manager - Decatur, IL or ADM – NA Milling Business Unit
This is an exempt position.

Job Summary:
This position is a strategic support role within the Divisional Milling team. The position provides proactive support in the development, implementation, execution and performance of the Quality Systems to ensure product meets quality and food safety standards. In addition to leading efforts for the division. This position reports to the Director of Quality and Food Safety, Milling.

Essential Job Functions:Provide oversight of Customer Complaints – to ensure the team works within the outlined processes and categorizes complaints according to published guardrailsMonitors cases to ensure proper categorization and responsible party along with CAPA review for Category 3 and 4 complaintsLocal and Divisional reporting out of complaint metrics, trending and evaluating dataContinue to explore standardization practices in complaint handling and trending of customer complaintsCollaborate with transportation and supplier quality to establish and verify standards for Transload/Co-manufacturers  Assist in transportation complaint investigations, assist in root cause determination, and continuous improvementsOwn notifications around customer changes (ie; co-man location/manufacturing change; product spec change; etc)Liaise between customers & manufacturing sites, warehouses & internal depts related to quality processes & requestsSupport complex KAM/BU-supported customer portals/questionnaires, as neededCustomer audit facilitation and approval, as needed Assist product steward, business and sales with relevant projects (rebranding, etc)Collaborate with Senior Product Steward to identify and create needed processes and statementsSystem management/support: WMS, TLC, IBMManage and continuously improves the Food Safety/Quality divisional programsHelping to drive continuous improvement efforts to deliver quality and food safe productsFacilitate and own divisional gap assessment and rollout of QMS programsPlant quality and food safety verifications, as neededFacilitating divisional quality training, as neededTravel as needed to support the needs in regions and across the Division, as requestedJob QualificationsPreferred 4 year degree or equivalent 7 year Food Safety experience and PCQI trainedRequired Milling plant experience and in depth knowledge of milling processesWorking knowledge of Document Management, spreadsheets, Excel and databasesKnowledge applicable food regulations and requirementsAbility to make decisions based on information and data availableAbility to work as a team member and provide trainingAbility to think strategically and proactively to contribute to the development of the organizationAbility to motivate staff and establish positive relationships across all levels of the organizationRelocation Assistance is available with this role.
