Our Eau Claire, Wisconsin facility, manufacturing Curt and Ranch Hand brand products is seeking a Quality Manager. Our Quality Managers develop, implement, and manage quality systems to ensure production of product consistent with established standard and customer specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain all ISO/IATF 16949 requirements, certifications, and other customer required quality standards. Plan, develop, and be accountable for a comprehensive quality program that meets internal and external standards. Establish and communicate quality control policies, procedures, and practices to comply with legal mandates. Understand and have the ability to proficiently use the following: New Product Development, Lean, 6S, Automotive Core tools; Advanced Product Quality Planning & Control Plan (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA). Develop and execute processes related to production, inventory control, calibration, warehousing and maintenance. Monitor and review total quality performance with KPIs, determining areas that need corrective and preventative action. Identify, recommend and procure necessary quality test equipment used to assess production quality in the plant. Strategically plan, develop, promote, and implement programs designed to improve supplier performance, productivity and reduce costs associated with quality issues. Participate with launch teams to lead and coordinate supplier APQP and PPAP deliverables for purchased components. Collect, maintain, and publish plant, customer scorecards, and supplier performance metrics monthly. Manage a responsive 8D CARs process that conducts timely containment measures, effective root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues. Travel to other locations (less than 25%). Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Work Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years professional experience managing Quality and/or related field. IATF experience required. Education: BS or BA in Engineering or Quality related field is required. Computer Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint. Preferred Skills Certified Quality Auditor Salary Commensurate with Experience Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to pass EVerify.
