What You’ll Do
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for initiating, planning, communicating and leading the implementation of Quality and Materials strategies and processes throughout the plant. You will focus on optimizing all factors of production assuring customer satisfaction through high quality products at the lowest practical cost. Other duties include:
Provides technical expertise associated with laboratory techniques and methods. Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values Communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts Plans and prepares special instructions for areas of responsibility. Solicits proposals on the behalf of Dyno Nobel Inc for the requested materials, goods, or services from potential and existing vendors. Work with production management to address all customer complaints and investigations. Oversee work with production management to maintain ISO certification. Creates and implements contracts and/or purchase orders that comply with company and government policies, rules, and regulations. Acts as primary interface between the vendors and the requestors or intended recipients of the materials, goods, or services purchased on behalf of Dyno Nobel Inc. Relays scheduling, pricing, and/or quality issues with the vendor and work with the vendor to resolve past and current issues while avoiding future onesWhat We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, logistics, engineering, or other related field 5+ years experience in production, materials management or quality related field. Knowledge of SAP or another major MRP system is highly desirable Knowledge of ISO quality procedures and systems. ISO, document control, and database administration or certification desired. Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.What We Offer:
