Quality Manager

Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for the leadership of the quality function, and adherence to quality standards. This is a hands on role with key focuses in development and implementation of corporate strategy, technical performance, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities include

Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organizationSet QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achievedBring together staff of different disciplines and drive the group to plan, formulate, and agree on comprehensive quality proceduresAssess the product specifications of the company and its suppliersWork with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliersAct as a liaison between customer and auditors to ensure the execution of corrective action, and compliance with customer specificationsEstablish standards of service for customers or clientsEnsure compliance with national and international standards and legislationEnsure tests and procedures are properly understoodSet up and maintain controls and documentation proceduresCollect and analyze performance data chartsWrite technical and management systems reports

Must Have

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience5+ years of Quality management experience3+ years managing of peopleKnowledge of automotive requirements or regulated environment (Aerospace/Medical Device)GD&T and dimensional layoutsProduction Part Approval Process (PPAP)Knowledge of ISO:9001, ISO14000 or TSI 16949Corrective actionsPrevious project management experienceCustomer/supplier interaction experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00
