You’ll take what they created and make it even better for those who come after you. **What about the role?** Quality Manager carries out the planning of quality control and Food Safety activities, implementation of control plans, from raw material to final product analysis process and technical specifications in order to meet consumer and customer demands for Q&FS, legal and Diageo requirements within Nevsehir site. **What you will be doing?** The role has 4 direct reports (Laboratory Specialist) The role requires to have in-depth knowledge of raki production process and operations, laboratory experience and equipment & method validations, ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 food safety and audit experience. + Must act as part of Quality Technical and Innovation Leadership team to drive performance opportunities in all areas + Ensure clear development plans and succession plans for direct reports + Ensure the Q&FS performance realization of the process from raw material to final product in Nevsehir plant within the scope of Quality and Food Safety. + Must actively seek to lead by example on cross team / function collaboration and support + Must use experience to inspire performance execution throughout quality team + Must actively help to coach and develop other team members **Key internal and external stakeholders** + Diageo Global Quality Team + Mey Diageo HQ Team + Diageo Technical Center + Customer and Consumer Concerns process stakeholders **What we are looking for** + Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and/or Food Engineering + Must have managed significant experience quality control process, FSSC 22000 food safety management system and laboratory management experience for 5+ years + 5+ years of Laboratory Management + Experience in quality, food safety and laboratory management and audits + Experience in leading quality improvement project management + Fluent English is a requirement + Knowledge of Turkish food codex and regulatory of alcoholic beverages and production are both important and significant advantages + Experience in team management +5 years **Preferred Accountabilities** + Analytical Skills: Experience in evaluation of major quality project management and capex investments. The ability numerical and statistical analysis and problem-solving ability. + Communication skills: Strong communication and influencing skills are required to support effective working at all levels. The ability to inspire and motivate people across Quality Technical and Innovation team. + Decision-Making Skills: Need to be able to use information to make decisions and judgements. Must be excellent in numerical analysis. Recognizes and resolves situations that are ambiguous or challenging. + Relationship management: Need to have the ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders.
