Job Title: Quality Manager

Duration: 12 Month contract with potential extension
Hours/Week: Monday - Friday 40/hrs week (possible overtime)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to support our customer onsite in Waterboro, ME. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met for our tailored project quality plan. This role involves monitoring, measuring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while managing a team of quality inspectors and engineers brought in to support Prototype builds. The position also includes overseeing and executing to milestones while managing budget and deliverables.
Develop and implement a tailored project quality plan.Monitor, measure, and report KPIs to ensure quality standards are met.Manage and lead a team of quality inspectors and engineers.Support prototype builds and ensure quality standards are maintained.Manage budgets and labor reporting for quality-related activities.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.Provide training and support to quality staff as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role.Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.Expertise in conducting first article reviews and AS9102 documentation.Familiarity with AS9102 Rev CStrong understanding of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).Skilled in using precision measuring tools and equipment; such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges height gauges, CMM, and hardness testers.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
