Quality Manager
Overview The Quality Manager will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail. They must fully understand the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility. Responsibilities Understanding client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements Approve the right products or reject defectives Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis Requests feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures Perform Audits to ensure that job plans, standards and safety regulations are being followed Identifying, addressing and proposing solutions and corrective actions Documenting reports, assessments and corrective actions Establish and maintain a complete Quality Management System (QMS) Shall develop a Quality Management Plan which describes the QMS methodology and approaches Qualifications Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High school diploma ISO 9001 Certified Lead Auditor Experience: At least three years of proven experience as Quality Manager, preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity Skills & Technology Used: Conscientious and responsible A keen eye for details Outstanding communication skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Fluent in English In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards Abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods Certification of quality control is a strong advantage Must have a valid driver’s license We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
