About the Role Provides leadership for Quality Systems. Responsible for advanced quality planning, supplier quality assurance, testing laboratories, customer complaints, product submission, and the implementation of lean techniques. Supervises personnel who have continuous interactions with customers, product design. Takes a leadership role in ISO 9001/2000, ISO17025 and TS16949 compliance. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Works with customers and EHS to reduce hazards associated with components and assembly operations of their parts. Always ensure all employees have received necessary training and comply with safety rules and issuing corrective actions when needed. Who we are looking for Directs, implements, and maintains operational-level strategies and objectives and monitors performance against plan. Manages, monitors and controls material, labor, and overhead costs in respective area. Develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and expenses for department. Maintains appropriate level of staff support necessary to meet business goals and objectives. As a member of the Operations Team, actively leads and influences efforts to improve product quality and process capability.  Your Responsibilities Provides leadership and direction for all members involved in Quality Systems support and coordinates the team’s efforts with other support areas. Directs, implements, and maintains operational-level strategies and objectives. Develops short to moderate-term goals and translates them into short-term plans in support of operational goals and objectives. Monitors performance against plan and ensures that goals are met. Maintains contact with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and support resources to ensure that Quality Assurance systems are meeting objectives and continuously improving. Manages, monitors, and controls material, labor, and overhead costs in respective area. Develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and expenses for department. Maintains appropriate level of staff support necessary to meet business goals and objectives. Monitors productivity of groups and individuals recommends changes where desirable. Provides leadership and support to staff to assist employees with skill development. Develops team-based organization focused on goals and objectives. Leads the effort to internalize quality systems that meet or exceed ISO9001/2000, ISO17025 and TS16949 Standards. Your preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or quality control. Demonstrated employee relationship and management skills to develop, lead, support, and motivate a cohesive, world-class quality assurance team. Demonstrated strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels within the organization.
