Summary: Seeking a Quality Manager with automotive experience to manage and execute quality management systems and strategies in a Tier 1 Automotive plant.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems
Proficiency in APQP/PPAP processes
Expertise in statistical methods and Quality Core Tools (e.g., SPC, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA & CP)
Strong background in root cause analysis and problem-solving methods (e.g., Shainin; Red X; Six Sigma)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with stamping (press and dies) plants
Presentation and moderation techniques
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System
Manage all QM activities to achieve corporate quality goals
Execute global quality strategy, particularly certified QM systems
Track and maintain data analysis of key metrics related to quality strategy
Support plant management in implementing quality policies and standards
Drive continuous improvements, problem-solving activities, and stretch quality targets
Handle customer claims, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness
Engage in internal program reviews and customer meetings regarding quality aspects
Pay Details: $105,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
