Job Title: Quality Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in managing a Receiving and Inspection Department, preferably within the Medical Device or Aerospace industries. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of quality management systems, corrective and preventative actions, and FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the Receiving and Inspection Department, ensuring all incoming materials meet quality standards.
+ Lead and manage a team of 3-4 direct reports, including engineers and inspectors.
+ Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Develop and execute corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and improve processes.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
+ Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal quality standards.
+ Provide training and guidance to team members on quality processes and procedures.
+ Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with exposure to running a Receiving and Inspection Department.
+ Experience in the Medical Device or Aerospace industries.
+ Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), corrective actions, and preventative actions.
+ Proven experience leading and managing a team of engineers and inspectors.
+ Familiarity with supplier quality processes and inspection techniques.
+ In-depth understanding of FDA regulations and compliance requirements.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $67.31
