Quality & Process Control Engineer

Our company encourages diversity and inclusion in all its forms while our products make the world a more beautiful, safer, and sustainable home (http://bit.ly/purpose-sgna) . **The Role -** **_What’s the job?_** This role is responsible for driving improvements in product quality and process control through process engineering activities and implementation of the quality management system at the Denver, CO, site location and its aluminum coil coating and slitting operations. + Provide Process Control Engineering to include controls design and implementation, definition of targets and measures, and validation activities. + Lead data analysis, develop cost-reduction initiatives, and provide training and hands-on support to manufacturing operators. + Lead Quality Assurance efforts to ensure product and process quality; investigate and help resolve/prevent consumer claims; and monitor/drive improvement in Cost of Poor Quality metrics. + Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Product Management to integrate quality standards into new products. + Travel up to 20% for meetings, training, and collaboration with other Saint-Gobain sites and businesses, as well as current and potential customers. + Typical working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some after-hours accessibility. **Requirements -** **_What do you bring?_** + Education – Bachelor’s degree required with degree in an engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering, or other technical field. + 5+ years of experience in quality and process control or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment through permanent employment or internship(s). + Ability to develop and implement quality programs utilizing problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques. + Ability to understand new concepts, organize and coordinate work, lead teams, and communicate results/progress effectively. + Demonstrated experience and knowledge of data collection systems and analysis, and basic understanding of the audit process and required actions. The national pay range for this position is $89,500 to $138,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,200 to $155,100.
