The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Team located in Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Level B:

Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

Level C:

Verifies product conformance to design requirements.Provides objective evidence of results.Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

High School / GED Diploma is requiredExperience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specificationsExperience working with product review and non-conformanceExperience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Aerospace industry experience

Typical Education & Experience:

Level B:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Level C:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Summary pay range for associate level (Level B): USD 46,750– 63,250

Summary pay range for mid-level (Level C): USD 53,550– 72,450
