Job Description

The RN or LPN is responsible for assisting the coordination of the clinical, educational, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all components of the Chest Pain/Stroke program.  Performs review of patient’s medical records abstracting data used to  improve performance of hospital services.  Screens for established indicators, enters data into computerized tracking systems and analysis data for trends.

Education:

 Graduate of a school of nursing.

Demonstrate base knowledge of the Chest Pain Center and Stroke Program accreditation process and must have demonstrated knowledge of ACS/STEMI / Stroke management through all phases of care: pre-hospital, resuscitation, stabilization, supportive care, rehabilitation, social re-integration and prevention.

Experience:

Must have at least three(3) years clinical experience.

Licenses/Certificates:

Current state license 

Current CPR  

Successfully completed NIHSS certification.
