Quality Program Specialist 1
**Overview** St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an individual to join our team as a Quality Program Specialist supporting the System Recall Quality Program. We are seeking an organized, flexible, and communicative individual to grow. In partnership with our team, you will: • Coordinate the removal of recalled medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals in a timely manner • Track and report data in relevant databases to identify areas of opportunity • Teach new employees who will lead Recall Management efforts in their business units • Provide reports on your program performance to leaders and governing bodies • Identify and prioritize program risks for leadership and make recommendations for mitigation • Work with stakeholders to actively address and mitigate program risks. The position is full-time and exempt. Occasional evening work is expected. We are a hybrid department so team members will work from home and the office. Our main office is in Boise but team members working in other St. Luke’s facilities are encouraged to apply. We are seeking the right person regardless of where you live. Responsibilities: • Coordinates Supply Chain, St. Luke's Clinic, and Pharmacy Recall Program reporting. • Coordinates collection, review, and data entry of recall outcomes. • Identifies improvement opportunities within business unit recall response rates. • Conducts annual SWOT analysis and leads efforts to prioritize findings. • Recommends annual performance goals and targets. • Collaborates with multiple departments and managers to achieve program objectives. • Solves simple issues and problems. Escalates more complex issues to leadership. • Participates in improvement projects and relevant committees. • Reviews recall alerts in all formats -- digital and physical mail -- daily to prioritize organizational response. • Coordinates user training and maintains user compliance with the Recall policy. • Designs tracking system for recall credit collection. • Oversees FDA Recall audit response and documentation. • Maintains and coordinates intranet communications and webpage for Recalls. • Collaborates with internal Compliance department to conduct annual self-monitoring assessments. • Perform comprehensive program self-audits to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness and compliance.
