**BASIC FUNCTION:**
Under the direction of the Quality Manager is responsible for investigating problems and coordinating corrective actions. To be a liaison to customers on quality and reliability issues.
The **Quality Engineer** coordinates, administers and performs the quality function of an engineering and technical nature to ensure product quality and reliability at minimum quality costs
**Specific duties:**
+ Support the Just-In-Time facility as it relates to customer issues for safety, quality, customer expectations.
+ Work harmoniously in the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with TMMK and Adient Georgetown as an on-site representative of the Adient team at our customer's facility.
+ Use all tools and equipment in a safe, efficient manner. Respecting the customer's facility and abiding by their rules.
+ Represent Adient Georgetown in a professional manner.
+ Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the product and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues (e.g., Troubleshoot track and back frame issues, evaluate part characteristics against written standards and sensory boundaries).
+ Operate a motor vehicle and transport product.
+ Work independently and efficiently to resolve customer concerns.
+ Be available for off shift support if needed.
**Education, Experience Required:**
Bachelor's degree with statistical background or certified quality or reliability engineer through A.S.Q.C. or 1 to 3 years experience in quality control or quality assurance.
