Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The Quality and Risk Project Specialist will support shared projects and initiatives under the Quality & Safety and Risk departments. These would include projects supporting regulatory compliance activities, department of health surveys, as well as process improvement projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or in an approved related field is required.
Master's degree in an approved related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of healthcare experience is required.
Two years of project management experience is required.
One year or experience in quality/patient safety performance improvement or risk management is preferred.
One year of database management experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
Other Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications
- Strong ability to manage data visually for healthcare analytics projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task various responsibilities
