**Quality Specialist** Quality Assurance Elkton, VA, US Pay Rate Low: 38 | Pay Rate High: 39 + Added - 28/02/2025 Apply for Job Seeking a Quality Specialist for our client - a global pharmaceutical powerhouse **Type:** Contract **Pay:** 38-39/hr **Shift:** Rotating shift role with the following hours: 6:30a-3:30p and 1:30p-10:30p. **Job Description:** + Support manufacturing operations by reviewing and approving qualification activities, change controls, batch records, and other quality-related documentation. + Audit classified (Grades A/B/C) areas, including becoming certified for Grade A/B gowning, to ensure compliance with cGMPs and Health Authority regulations. + Perform quarantine functions and accountability reviews as needed to maintain product quality standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support special projects and resolve quality and production-related issues. + Author, review, and approve methods, procedures, and protocols while adhering to site safety requirements and regulatory standards. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Science, Health Science, Engineering, or related discipline with 1-3 years of industry experience. + Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required. + Preferred experience in supporting aseptic operations or sterile product, Quality Assurance/Engineering, technical roles, or regulatory/inspection roles within the food or pharmaceutical environment. + Experience in project management, process data analysis, Lean Six Sigma Certification, and familiarity with SAP, MEDS, or similar systems is advantageous.
