DUTIES
The Senior Quality Engineer I will formulate procedures, specifications, and standards for products and processes; gather relevant, factual information and data in order to solve quality related problems; develop and implement corrective/preventative action plans; resolve issues by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and guided precedents; plan and lead projects by identifying and organizing activities into time dependent sequencing with realistic timelines; work effectively/productively with all departments by developing a team atmosphere; and assure products conform to established requirements and standards through appropriate audit, inspection, and test activities.
Requirements - Education and ExperienceEducation - Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering field.
Experience
Must have 3 years of experience in the job offered or related position.
Must have 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, QSR/ISO regulations,
design assurance, FMEA, product testing methods, and optical comparators and CMMs; Risk Management File; statistics, process control and process capability.
Up to 20% of domestic travel required.
Remote work permitted up to 3 days per week throughout the U.S.
