Quality Supervisor – MGF support Areas

The Quality Supervisor of Manufacturing Support Areas Provides leadership, direction and hands on involvement regarding to Non Conforming Material, Detention, Verification and Warranty Return Material Authorization operations.  This individual will directly supervise a team of union hourly associates (governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)).  This position will be based out of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s (the “Company”) corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC.

Key Responsibilities 

\n\nImplement and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Training Matrices, & Area KPI’s\nDrive Policy Deployment objectives for respective areas \nCoach, Develop, and Encourage continuous improvement for all operational aspects to achieve optimum performance\nEnsure proper workforce & Prioritize workloads \nMaintain Corrective Action timelines, Drive urgency\nUtilize statistical methods and Root Cause Analysis (PSP/PSR) for Continuous Improvements\nDevelop and Maintain part validation methods\nLead NCM/MRB & Containment activities as needed\nMonitor and Report on quality metrics and progress toward quality goals including, Scrap, Detention Inventory, Time on Hand, etc.\nLead ISO compliance for assigned areas and participate as an Internal Auditor for the entire organization \nLead/Participate in Kaizen events \nEnsure & Maintain PCI Compliance\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\n

\n\nDetention Inventory\nScrap Tracking\nDepartment Process & Training Documentation\nArea Organization\nTimliness of processing material\n\nMinimum 2 Year Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of Metrology\n3-5 Years of experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial environment\n3-5 Years of applied experience in Inspection, GD&T and Metrology\nMust be computer literate in Microsoft Office and Windows® applications.\nMust have proven experience demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, and creativity in developing sound technical solutions to business problems.\nMust have consistently demonstrated the ability to solve and document complex cross departmental issues using structured problem-solving tools.\nMust be able to work individually and in teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills for internal and external customers\nStrong interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers\nEffective organizational skills with particular attention to detail\n
