What will you do? Responsibility of supervising the Quality staff, which includes scheduling, approving time records, periodic evaluation, counselling, and performance documentation. Support the plant Food Safety & Quality System to produce safe quality food, acting as SQF Practitioner or equivalent GFSI manager (BRC, FS22000). In conjunction with the Quality Manager, update and support food safety programs and food safety systems: HACCP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring program. Maintain the quality systems for the plant. Ensure work instructions, SSOPs, procedures and other pertinent documentation is up to date. Perform and/or participate in internal audits while ensuring compliance to internal quality policies and applicable local regulations through the audits, observations, process reviews, and development of corrective actions with site management. Support facility during inspections, customer audits, communications, commercialization’s, and other interactions with regulatory agencies or customers. Provide technical assistance to quality assurance and operations. Responsible for conducting departmental and job specific training. Conduct laboratory analyses and investigations, develop and apply new techniques. Maintain files of test results and product dispositions. Maintain and update product specifications including customer specifications and raw material specifications to reflect any changes or product use requirements. Prepare test schedules and procedures, solutions, and reagents for use by laboratory personnel in conducting tests. Ensure finished product and raw materials are tested per Kerry specification. Development and adherence to Quality SOP’s. Participate in quality complaint investigations. Verify corrective action completion and continued conformance.

What will you need to be successful? Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related. Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a food manufacturing setting. Knowledge and experience with quality management systems, GFSI standards, SSOPs, environmental hygiene programs, prerequisite programs, and HACCP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (nice to have). Proactive, self starter attitude and capable of working in a fast paced environment. Availability to work on second shift (4 PM - 1 AM). Compensation DataThe typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements)
