Quality Supervisor

Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, at our Darien, WI facility, local producers of Birds Eye products, you will provide guidance, technical assistance and scheduling for our 1st shift quality assurance technicians and associates. You will be involved in all aspects of quality and safety including audits, HACCP program evaluation, GMP training, sanitation evaluation, pest control, purchasing supplies, inspecting returned and incoming products, implementing procedures and evaluating new equipment installation or repair.

How Will You Affect our Business?Coordinate quality assurance activities (e.g., audits, training, and purchasing)Provide technical training to all QA personnelEnsure the HACCP plan's CCPs following procedureConduct GMP and sanitation auditsPartner with operations personnel on quality and safety issuesPlace product on hold, release or disposition while following Company procedureCoordinate resolution of customer complaintsEnsure SPC Management practices are followed

Do You Have What it Takes?You have a BS Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or other related degree required. Experience in lieu of education requirements.3-5 years related experience in the food industryExperience with Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe practicesExperience with FDA and USDA
