Quality Supervisor
Overview ***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP*** Under supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with providing a Total Quality Management System that anticipates & resolves potential quality problems & provides continuous oversight necessary to perform throughout the Task Order. Shares responsibility for ensuring that all quality-related functions, including Program-level Quality Surveillance/Audit, Customer Feedback Program, Process Improvements, Document Control are conducted in an acceptable manner and coordinates activities with various intermediate managers throughout the program. Ensures quality systems comply with the Quality Control Plan (QCP), Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Statement of Work (SOW). (Ref: ISO 9001-2015) Responsible for supervision of subordinate QA staff ( Document Control, Auditors and Coordinators) Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision of Document Control, Quality Auditors & Coordinators. Evaluate employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching, and feedback methods. Continuously improve performance based on the key performance indicators. Analyzes and resolves or assists workers in solving work problems. Oversee the efficient implementation of quality standards, programs and processes to improve operational efficiencies. Maintains a thorough knowledge of new developments, technology and processes. Develops, justifies and implements process improvements. Assists operational areas in documenting processes, desk top guides, and in identifying and managing all quality records in accordance with all Vectrus requirements. Participate and facilitate, as required, in process improvement meetings. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Experience: One (1) to three (3) years quality assurance experience, and seven (7) years in contracting environment. Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Skills: Extensive knowledge of FAR, ISO 9001:2015 & DoD regulations. Must have higher or Senior level organizational skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Project and Visio. Ability to work with very diverse workforce. Excellent English communicator both in writing and verbally. Expertise in how SOP'S, Plans, Work Instructions, processes are executed is a must. Proven skills in Analytical/Problem Solving. Strong planning and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills to represent the PMO during audits and inspections, to participate in various meetings and to present data/metrics to program leadership and technicians as required. Strong attention to detail is required. Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision of QA Subordinates. (DC, Auditors, Coordinators ..) Working Environment: The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
