Quality Supervisor

As the Quality Supervisor, 2nd shift, you will supervise the Quality Control lab in the Industrial (NS) and Automotive (SS) Quality Control departments. Responsibilities include direct supervision of 8 to 12 salary non-exempt lab technicians, support production needs, support CoA/submission panel process, support the QMS, lead safety programs and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage the daily activities and workflow of 8 to 12 salaried nonexempt lab technicians.Support production and supply chain with daily updates on all OT batches.Work as the bridge between the engineering team, manufacturing and technical for OT production batches.Manage CoA and submission panel processYou will lead safety programs, improvement projects, and training to support the department’s Safety Action Plan.Establish and implement strategies for cycle time reduction for in-process and final testing functions.Support quality assurance and IATF 16949 activities between the Oak Creek manufacturing, technical, and commercial functions that directly impact plant quality goals.Coordinate with 1st shift supervisors for weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.Experience in laboratory, industrial or related field.Identify and communicate issues that need to be addressed and to take the necessary steps to avoid future errors.
