**Job Title: Quality Supervisor** **Job Description** The quality control supervisor in metal fabrication manages quality control inspectors and oversees quality inspection activities. The supervisor ensures that all products meet design standards and tolerances, conducts inspections on new production runs, maintains detailed records, and addresses non-conformances. Additionally, the role involves improving processes, developing standards, and managing subcontractors to ensure they meet quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Work with engineers and others to ensure designs meet standards and tolerances. + Conduct inspections on samples from new production runs to validate accuracy. + Maintain detailed records and reports of measurements, defects, and deviations. + Document non-conforming products and work with teams to address issues. + Participate in root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions. + Help develop and update inspection procedures and standards. + Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and provide guidance to operators. + Ensure that subcontractors meet quality standards. + Ensure that products are properly marked and identified, stored to prevent damage, and securely blocked for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Quality control with over 5 years of quality management experience. + Proficiency in reading and explaining blueprints. + Working knowledge of using a tape measure, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and rulers. + Experience in steel fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with ISO 9001 standards. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values quality and continuous improvement. The role involves using various precision measuring tools and working closely with a team of engineers and quality control inspectors. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00 Growing international company. Started out as 2 plants here in the Charleston Area and they have since opened a 3rd plant.
