The Quality Supervisor role for CMM at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment. In this position, you will lead and supervise the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision. You will be involved in creating, providing, and maintaining the quality gate checklist and inspection tools for CMM Inspectors. Additionally, you will lead the CMM team, providing process coaching and training to maintain and improve measurement accuracy and methods. This role is not only about leadership but also about fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, making it an exciting and rewarding position for those passionate about quality and precision engineering.

What You Will Do:
Implementing CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
Implementing corrective actions and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.
Addressing trends with internal and external non-conformance.
Directing CMM quality specialists and inspectors to assure that establishment and regulatory standards are met.
Reviewing reports and confers with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.
What Skills You Have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Quality Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for Quality Risk Management; ability to implement the quality assurance process of assessment, control, communication, and review of risks to the quality of products.
Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
What Will Set You Apart:
Having a deep understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), preferred in Leica.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.
Educational Background: A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):
This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
