As a Quality Supplier Management Employee (M/F/T), you will monitor the quality of the supplied products and ensure the compliance to the delivery specifications in order to optimize the business relationship between Flowserve and its suppliers. You will also work with our Global Supplier Quality Management to define the priorities, set the targets and evaluate the achieved results.
Your tasks:
Ensuring the supplier performances:
Ensure that the supplier indicators are met (monthly, yearly).
Communicate with quality and other departments regarding the product quality (Shop Floor Management).
In the event of deviations, prepare and track the complaints until the effective implementation of corrective actions in cooperation with our suppliers is proven (SAP system).
Check the implementation of the actions (after complaints)
Perform regular supplier evaluation and communicate the results to drive the development of our suppliers.
Plan and conduct audits at suppliers on-site (worldwide)
Preventive supplier quality through participation in the supplier selection process and support in complex projects (based on APQP).
Preparing of supplier evaluations and coordinating of the results with other departments and global supplier quality management to ensure the achievement of the Flowserve targets.
Ensuring the compliance with normative requirements (Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX, SIL…) when delivering supplier documentation to our customers.
In case of deviation to the normative requirements, defining actions together with quality and purchasing departments.
Your profile:
Completed studies with a technical focus and specialization in quality management or training in a technical profession with further qualification as a technician and specialization in quality management.
3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in a metalworking company.
Auditor qualification and/or certification desirable
Communication and negotiation skills in German and English (English min. Level B.2)
Strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and creativity
Independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working
Confident demeanor, ability to work in a team and reliability.
Good knowledge of common MS Office applications and SAP
Willingness to travel worldwide
Knowledge of normative requirements such as Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX requirements, SIL requirements and quality methods (e.g. APQP, PPAP, 8D) is an advantage.
