Job Duties

Daily Tasks/Meetings

Safety engagement through active submissions of learning events to foster safety culture.

Drive remediation of NCMRs, MRRs, CARs, and Concerns at Quality Daily Huddle and Tier II, highlight trends and problem solve with stakeholders to identify root cause, and timely closure..

Direct Reporting responsibilities for QA Inspectors, managing priorities, training, coaching, feedback, and timekeeping

Primary Quality Rep for Quote Review Board (QRB) working with supply planning and engineering stakeholders to drive quality robustness into new product requests

Weekly Tasks/Meetings

Collaborate with Royston QE to drive timely SCAR remediation of UK supplied quality concerns

CoPQ Review Meeting of that week’s NCMRs, MRRs, and Concerns w/ Quality, Production, and Supply Chain Management driving quality improvement to the source.

Lead Complaint/CAR Review with QE and QM, followup on actions to meeting Quality KPI performance targets

Primary backup for production quality engineer

Monthly Tasks/Meetings

Lead Quality KPI Review Meeting highlight monthly trends driving site quality performance.

Lead Customer Complaint/CAR review with Quality and Commercial Teams

Facilitate 4CP structured problem solving for WW site as required

Drive quality performance through organization through Project Accelerate business initiatives as identified

Manage Approved Supplier List (ASL) with Purchasers and make changes as needed

Value Stream Meetings support in quality function

Regular touchpoint on off-shifts to support quality needs and quality team visibility.

Manage QMS document system for site including training, procedures.

Customer Facing Audits

ISO Representative for the WW site

Host customer and regulatory audits

Provide requested pre-audit documentation/information to auditor(s) (as appropriate)

Notify site leadership and other site stakeholders of audit details including agenda

Drive audit

Lead any CARs that were triggered by audit nonconformities and respond to customer/regulatory body once completed

Lead Internal Auditor for site

Field intermittent customer requests for documentation

Support preparation for Annual Management Review

Conduct 3-year review of QM Tier II procedures with necessary stakeholders

Requirements for the role:

AA Degree or Higher- Not degree specific

Experience in business system implementation and maintenance (ISO9001)

Preferred Project/Program management experience

Preferred experience of quality management tools and their application (APQP / FMEA / PPAP / SPC / MSA)
