The Quality System Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IATF 16949 and DBS quality management system. This role will also serve as a Quality Engineer to support the our traditional products lines(adaptor, fitting, hose assembly etc.), ensuring product quality and resolving customer issues. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and leading internal and external audits, including customer audits.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Develop, implement, and maintain the local Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 and DBS requirements. Act as the primary contact for customer audits and third-party audits, responsible for audit preparation, coordination, and follow-up of corrective actions. Lead internal audits and management reviews to ensure compliance with QMS requirements and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Monitor and supervise the implementation of various processes, ensuring the healthy operation of the quality management system through training, process optimization, and improvements. Lead and improve quality issue and prevent the same issue happen through SPC & Danfoss RCPS etc. tool. Design of CP, inspection instruction, sampling method, measurement tools and calibration requirements, and provide related trainings. Solve quality issues (customer complaints, mass quality accidents), including root cause analysis, CA & PA make and implement. Leading the relevant customer complaints, improving current quality control process and providing feedback of incoming inspection results to SQE. Response for new project & new product PFMEA & CP implement in manufacture process and also key quality control point in process. Actively participate in the application of new technologies, new processes and new methods of quality management (such as digitalization, intelligent testing, etc.). Review machining and final non-conformity products. Work with SQE to improve supplier quality level and our incoming inspection process. Complete assigned job from supervisor timely. 1.Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
2.At least 5 years of experience in quality, more than 3 years of experience as a system engineer in the mechanical/electronic/automotive industry.
3.Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements.
4.Familiar with mechanical drawings, various dimensions and geometric tolerances; proficient in the use of common measuring instruments and tools.
5.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex quality issues.
6.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
7.Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
