Quality Systems and Safety manager
The Quality Systems and Safety Manager will be responsible for leading the systems and safety teams that supports the Arens Williams Business Unit.
The incumbent will be responsible for all systems related quality and safety activities with a goal to maintain compliance with international, customer, and corporate standards.

Your Challenge:
Maintains compliance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 14001, and Corporate Safety programs
Leads the certification and maintenance processes for the standards listed above, filling the role of management representative as defined by the standard
Directs and monitors processes and ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and company-designated regulations
Manages internal audit programs related to international standards, customer and corporate requirements.
Maintains oversight quality management system and ensures continuous quality improvement by addressing deficiencies in a timely manner and communicating concerns to the appropriate parties
Ownership of all Quality System and Safety Documentation
Leverages a strong foundation in Six Sigma and Lean methodology to support continual process improvement
Perform quality and safety trends analysis and reports
Maintains close working relationships with departmental managers/supervisors to assure proper support of the quality and safety systems at each location. Provides guidance to and counsels employees.
What you bring:
7+ years' experience in an automotive manufacturing company
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Demonstrable leadership skills and people management capability
Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives
Experience with the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2000 and/or IATF 16949 applied to both manufacturing and product development. Internal auditor credentials desired.
Preference given to candidates experienced with VDA requirements
OSHA 30 Hour General Industry desired
Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, prioritize work, and operate with a sense of urgency.
