The Quality Systems Analyst reports to the Quality Manager. The Quality Systems Analyst must conduct themselves in a professional manner . Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. In problem solving, develops solution to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. The ability to make on the spot decision and works under general supervision regarding the direction and progress of projects and special assignments. Receives limited instruction on standards issues, and detailed instruction on new assignments. Individual should be proficient in computer word processors like Word, Excel spreadsheets and graphics. The position may involve collaboration with peers and resources across other global locations, to review current processes and technology. The period of performance for this position is not to exceed more than one year, may extend to fulfil mission requirements. Responsibilities MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: + Perform audits of internal administration against plan, policy, performance work Statement (PWS), and any regulatory requirements. + Leverage internal processes & procedures to track and report status to Division Managers and leaders. Share results of audits on regular basis as per established frequency and quality standards. + Take end-to-end ownership to collaborate with Operation partners to ensure identified issues are addressed and improvement has been sustained. + Maintain subject matter expertise specific to job function and general industry awareness. + Reporting of key trends, performing deep dive analysis and collaborating with stakeholders to share critical insights for further action/ analysis. + Identify root cause and areas of improvements in the process audited. Provides ideas for process improvements to enhance process efficiency, quality and customer experience. + Use critical thinking and demonstrate high ownership while reviewing processes and technology. + Conduct activity, technical, and special inspections. + Prepare audit/inspections reports; evaluates responses and performs follow-up actions. + All other duties as assigned. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: + Various office equipment to include but not limited to, computers, Microsoft software products, and equipment unique to the department. + Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as Face Mask, steel or composite toe safety shoes/boots, hand, head, and eye wear when required. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: + The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: + Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: + Must have an associate degree with three (3) years of Quality experience or three (3) or more years of Quality on the job experience as their primary duties. + A minimum three-year general experience in management, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work that demonstrates judgment and analytical ability. + Must possess a current state issued driver’s license without restrictions. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: + Written and verbal communication skills + Track record for delivery of high quality products + Customer service and communication skills, both verbal and in writing + Time management and ownership of deliverables + Flexibility and Interest to do repetitive tasks. + Ability to analyze and identify patterns in large data sets. + Strong attention to details. + Ability to work independently + Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills. + Military service or work with general knowledge of the Army Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation fields is preferred. + Strong Microsoft office abilities. + Make recommendations to the Quality Manager for needed improvements. + Manage surveillance schedules and audit checklist to ensure contractual, regulatory & ISO 9001-2015 compliance. + Must be able to complete and pass the Value Based Six Sigma Green Belt Course and an ISO Auditing Course.
