Job Title: Quality Systems Engineer
Location: Sunderland
Salary: Up to £40k
Hours: 37.5hrs a week – (Mon - Thurs 0830 - 1700 Friday – 0830 - 1400)

They began production on site in 2021 and are proud to be on the journey to become the global benchmark of Tailgate manufacturing. They are an energetic, passionate team with expertise in the new most exciting materials and processes. Our client provides everything needed, materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to helping manufacturers create bold, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world. Their exterior portfolio of products includes liftgates, door modules, exterior fascias and trim, front-end modules, active aerodynamic systems, running boards, sealing, trim and engineered glass.
 
Responsibilities
Leading and supporting the implementation and sustaining QMS, automotive, company and customer specific requirements into the business.Management of document control and related systemsCoordination of internal audit processes, and conducting regular auditsRegular communication, meetings and audit with customersSupport quality management and site management objectives and reporting requirements.Contribute towards the development and delivery of department and individual objectives to maintain/improve department and business performance.Lead the development and embedding of the plant’s QMS system and customer requirements.Implement and facilitate the change management process for the plant.Manage the document control system.Liaison with external parties as required (customers, suppliers, etc.)Provide regular feedback through various mechanisms i.e. daily, weekly and monthly reviews.Ensure safe operating procedures are adhered to all times.Maintain responsible systems and metrics, including reporting as required.

Experience of quality management systems, with creation of procedures and rolling out through businessGood understanding of automotive requirements (IATF16949)Familiar with customer specific requirementsExcellent organisation skills and management of prioritiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to present to all levels of internal and external customers.Computer literate, including MS office applications.Experienced auditorPrepared to work within remit and across functions/levels as required.Nissan ANPQP experienceExperience of working within the automotive sectorIATF16949 Lead-auditor
