Job Description

The Quality Systems Intern position will assist and provide support to the Zekelman Industries Technical Team at the Farrell, PA and Niles, OH Facilities.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts process audits to plant standard operating procedures and document results.Works closely with plant quality, operation and maintenance personnel, review, and update documents to reflect current format and processes with addition of failure modes and reaction plans.Conducts and documents training on updated procedures.Performs other duties as they might be asRegular, full-time predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role

REQUIREMENTS

Pursing degree in material science, engineering, chemistry, or related fieldsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficient computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets)Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilitiesAbility to travel to Internship Summit, hosted at one of our Zekelman Industries’ locations
