Quality Systems Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Auditing:

Plan, execute, and document internal audits to ensure compliance with AS9100D requirements and company policies.

Identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement, and work collaboratively to develop corrective actions.

Support external audits and certification activities.

Quality Process Improvement:

Analyze current quality processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives and best practices.

Quality Management System (QMS) Maintenance:

Maintain and update the QMS to align with AS9100D standards and customer-specific requirements.

Root Cause Analysis:

Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Fault Tree Analysis.

Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to address root causes effectively.

Regulatory and Customer Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, industry, and customer-specific standards.

COMPETENCIES:

Organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills In-depth knowledge of AS9100D standards and QMS requirements. Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Certifications (Preferred):

Certified Lead Auditor (AS9100D or ISO 9001). Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
