Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality systems and aerospace? As a Quality Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence, compliance with industry standards, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the C-17 BLOS (Beyond Line of Site) project, enhancing aerospace systems and contributing to cutting-edge technological advancements in aviation.
In this dynamic role, you’ll leverage your expertise to review and validate nonconformance reports, analyze product quality, and mentor fellow employees—all while working on a prestigious aerospace program.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Quality Assurance: Review and validate product nonconformance, quality procedures, and engineering requirements to ensure compliance with company, contract, and government regulations.
Process Analysis: Evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes to ensure they meet quality management system standards and technical specifications.
Production Support: Review production plans to embed quality requirements, and train and mentor fellow team members on quality management practices.
Safety Oversight: Detect and address hazardous working conditions, ensuring a safe environment for the team through regular checks of equipment and work areas.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in quality assurance.
1+ year of experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
1+ year of experience working at heights and using fall protection equipment.
Experience in detecting safety hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes in the aerospace industry.
Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
U.S. Person status for export compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Training and/or experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Familiarity with the C-17 platform and U.S. military maintenance practices.
Experience working with aerospace modification teams or military programs.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $36.74 to $46.00 per hour
