What You'll Do:
Quality is a critical element of the Lubrizol Vision and a long-term customer commitment. Our mission is to reliably deliver products and services that consistently meet our customers’ quality expectations. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Systems Support Manager with proven experience in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) implementation and Quality Control Data and Document Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting manufacturing quality control data and document management systems, ensuring that systems and the integrity of the data are maintained and verifiable, and for overseeing the implementation and optimization of a LIMS to enhance our laboratory operations and data and document management worldwide.
What We're Looking For:
LIMS Implementation and Support: Lead and support the implementation of LIMS within laboratory environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure, and customize LIMS to meet specific laboratory needs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LIMS-related issues. Quality Control Systems Administration: Ensure quality control systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Set KPI’s and perform regular assessments of quality control processes. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control systems. Training and Documentation: Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on the use of LIMS and quality control systems. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, SOPs, and training materials. Data Management and Analysis: Ensure accurate and consistent data entry and management within LIMS and other quality control data and document management systems. Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality control activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in internal assessments, and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, chemistry, engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality systems support in a manufacturing environment. Experience in LIMS implementation. Strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality control processes and systems. Proficient in LIMS software and other laboratory management tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support laboratory personnel. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross functional teams Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality control and quality management systems (ISO, GMP, FDA). Working knowledge of SAP Quality module and Incident Management module
