 Shift: BOTH Night/Day Shifts (8a-8p OR 8p-8a)

 

 Pay Rate: $21.00 to $33.00 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities Ability to use/run testing equipment to complete designated tests on collected samples, properly recording results, identifying issues and assisting with corrective actions/troubleshooting, including troubleshooting equipment.Perform testing around product dimensions, funtionality testing, rigidity with ability to implement corrective actions needed to produce in seal spec product.Assisting with second and third party audit rediness ensuring proper documentation, reviewing procedures, and updating where necessary.Ensures proper documentation is in palce where necessary.Provides assisatnce with customer inquiries.Schedule and manage annual calibration of equipment as well as organize external calibration of equipment.Accurately perform quality hold/release procedures within the system of record including managing rework, review and disposition.Involvement in line changeovers to ensure clearance procedures are followed accordlingly.Perform qualification tasks for new products, tooling and customers managing documentation as necessary.Daily plant walks to ensure safety, housekeeping and addressing quality system problems.Completion and audit of incoming/outgoing materials and finished product.Trains intermediate skilled quality incumbents on various processes and procedures.Point person for Tier meetings, Hold inquiries, as well as holding Quality staff accountable in absence of Quality Manager

Ability to lift 30 lbs

Standard Manufacturing work enviroment

Temperature shifts depending on the season of the year

Reports to Quality Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

 

College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

3-5 years of experience in a quality function within a production environment.

Food Service industry quality auditing is preferred. GMP acumen.

Excellent writing skills that will include writing reports, business correspondence, procedures, and work instructions.

Strong communication, presentation, and team-building skills.

Microsoft Office, Statistical Software, and some programming experience.
Statistical methods and Process improvement techniques (SPC.)

Knowledge of manufacturing lab practices and test procedures.

Maintain the ability to work a flexible schedule to support improvement efforts across shifts for brief periods of time during projects.
