Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Technical Specialist for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA, Matrix location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Review customer specifications for accuracy, compatibility and capabilities for materials producedCoordinate and facilitate cross-functional reviews of customer specifications and other related technical documentsCompile and distribute specification comment letters and other Hexcel communications to customersProvide technical support to Hexcel commercial team representatives and customers as neededOrganize, maintain, and update customer specifications in digital databases i.e Sharepoint, M-Files.Enter, maintain, and update ERP system with new specifications, revisions, and part numbers, and statements of work.Interpret technical documents for application to Hexcel processesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of quality related experience and/or training preferredDemonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic math skillsAwareness of Quality System procedures as applicable to positionMust be able to communicate with all levels of personnel written and verballyAbility to write reports, business correspondences and procedures.Can read and interpret documents such as customer specifications, company procedures, and sales ordersAbility to communicate technical information effectively with other employees, supervision, and engineersEligible candidate must be: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, a temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Act, a person admitted in refugee status, a person granted asylum.
