Job Title: Quality Technician 2nd Shift
Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Technician for the 2nd shift to join our team. The Quality Technician will be responsible for testing ingredients to ensure they meet specifications and are safe for consumption. This role involves laboratory testing, environmental swabbing, and maintaining quality documentation. The position offers the opportunity to work with Italy's finest chocolate and other ingredients for well-known products. We are willing to train eager and motivated individuals in the quality process.

ResponsibilitiesConduct laboratory testing including water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity.Perform environmental swabbing to test for allergens, molds, and other environmental hazards.Ensure sanitation, batch records, and product release records are properly filled out and filed.Essential SkillsKnowledge of chemistry and biology.Experience in quality control (preferred but not required).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma required.No prior lab experience necessary.Eagerness to enter the science field.Work Environment

The work environment includes a mix of laboratory testing and on-site sample retrieval and line checks. The hours are Monday to Friday, 5pm to 3:30am, with an on-call rotation for Saturdays. Each team member will have a designated Saturday each month, and may need to come in if required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
