Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Technician 3 to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Supplier Quality Department supporting the Parts and Accessories Distribution business. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Quality Technician 3 **Location:** Brownsburg, IN **Pay Range:** $24 - $30 per hour **What's the Job?** + Maintain the Supplier Quality lab as a clean, safe work environment while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations. + Test, analyze, contain, sort, and report results for supplier quality issues. + Assist in updating reports and dashboards to support Supplier Quality. + Manage suppliers and be comfortable contacting them if sorting of parts is required. + Package and prepare product returns for shipment to suppliers. **What's Needed?** + Associate’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, science, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and relevant technical training. + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting within quality or manufacturing operations. + Ability to use equipment such as power and hand tools, micrometers, gauges, fixtures, etc. + Proficient in the use of inspection equipment and ability to run basic root cause analysis on quality defects. + Excellent analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a diverse team. + Possibility of extending the contract and transitioning to a full-time role. + Engagement in meaningful projects that impact supplier quality. + Professional development through hands-on experience in quality assurance processes. + Contribute to a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
