As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for performing in-process and final product inspections, conducting tests to ensure compliance with specifications, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, documenting and reporting quality issues, working with production teams to resolve quality concerns, and assisting in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

+ Knowledge of GMP practices.
+ Understanding of chemistry and biology principles.
+ Ability to perform quality inspections and checks.
+ Skill in visual inspection and wet chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sciences or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of quality experience within manufacturing.
Work Environment
The position is based at a coated products manufacturing site, primarily in a laboratory setting. Employees will work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including both day and night shifts. The role involves working 3-4 shifts per week, with an advanced schedule provided 4 weeks ahead to cover planned vacations and projects. Expect a block of 6 days off each month, and the possibility of working additional Saturdays if operations require. Sunday shifts are voluntary and compensated at double time, typically reserved for tenured staff. Employees enjoy 17 six-day off stretches throughout the year, 10 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
