Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description

The medical device quality technician inspects parts to specifications that are on a part drawing. This person will perform part inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins, plug gages, and thread gages. The candidate will also be trained in ERP systems such as SAP to enter acceptance data and nonconforming material reports to enter failure data.

ResponsibilitiesInspect parts according to specifications on part drawings.Perform part inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins, plug gages, and thread gages.Enter acceptance data into the ERP system, SAP.Generate nonconforming material reports to record failure data.Ensure adherence to GMP and other quality assurance standards.Essential Skills2+ years of experience working as a quality technician.2+ years of experience with micrometers, calipers, and gage pins.2+ years of experience with part inspection and reading blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CMM and sub-assembly inspection.Knowledge of quality assurance standards in the medical device industry.Familiarity with metrology and calibration processes.Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday (7 AM to 4 PM) and Friday (7 AM to 11 AM). The site produces a medical device used in the NICU for babies who have difficulty breathing on their own. The device involves the use of INOMAX gas mixed with oxygen in a ventilator. The team is responsible for making the INOMax DSIR system, which pairs with the pharmaceutical gas administered to patients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00
