What do we do?

CACI, Azure Summit Technology LLC provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.

What will you do?

CACI, Azure Summit Technology LLC is currently seeking a Quality Technician. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with some overnight travel to our Fairfax, Virginia, headquarters, and occasional travel to suppliers in support of Supplier Quality. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description. 

The selected candidate will inspect received products, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications in compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 and other established standards as required by Azure. Job responsibilities include the following:

Works under general supervision and with the guidelines of the Company's AS9100 Quality Management SystemPerform Receiving Inspection to mechanical and electrical drawings, Quality Control Plans (QCP)s and other appropriate requirementsPerform Work in Process (WIP) inspection of product for conformance including but not limited to correct configuration, assembly, physical configuration, proper hardware installation, external appearance, workmanship, and documentationInspect ready to pack or packed units. Ensure units are packed per packing instructions and customer requirements. Ensure all paperwork is included in the product, boxed properly and palletizedReview daily data collection from test and assembly stations. Isolate and react to failures and trends, stop production or shipment if such trends affect the quality of the productPerform internal Quality AuditsOther duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements

US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirementAbility to obtain an DoD SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirementAssociate degree (A. A.) or other degree from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years' experience related experience and/or training

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and customer specificationsAbility to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsAbility to solve practical problems and work on multiple issues concurrentlyComputer literacy and knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointAmerican Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications preferred:Certified Quality AuditorCertified Quality TechnicianIPC-610IPC-620.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$41,700 - $83,400
