Basic Job Functions: Develop, execute and successfully maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain any applicable quality certification requirements Provide guidance in applying the requirements of the QMS Leads and participate in the Internal Audit process Audits, qualifies and monitors performance of external vendors, contractors or suppliers Creation, interpretation and submission of Quality related documentation (Internal documents such as work instructions, FMEAs, Control Plans, etc.) Interaction with customer and supplier representatives on technical / quality matters Support 5-Why activity, CAR and PAR activity including effectiveness reviews Perform process capability (CP, CPK), process performance (PP, PPK) analysis, and assist in interpreting Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Apply statistical tools to improve process capability, eliminate defects, along with implementing/generating Quality KPIs, and reviewing trends to develop action plans Provide training, one on one and in group settings, for teammates, suppliers and customers  Maintain and improve, SharePoint, NMS Applications, BMS and other data management systems Support and maintain calibration systems Facilitate continual improvement

Minimum Qualifications: Two-year College degree or equivalent work experience Experience in a manufacturing / production process or quality related field Competent in Microsoft Office Suite Be able to Quality Tech Critical Demands. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in quality, operations or manufacturing in the steel or automotive industry Knowledge & application of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and ISO 14001 Working experience with analytical applications, mechanical applications, lab testing, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), statistical tools and structural problem solving (8D, 5 whys)
