Role Responsibilities

Lot review of membrane lots and release of same into inventoryAssist in tracking customer complaints / co-ordinating close-out and investigationsDrive quality improvements and initiatives within the membrane plantHold department quality meetings for the membrane plantHas responsibility for the implementation of those parts of the Merck quality system relating to the QA functionUpdates, reviews and drafts quality documentation such as test methods and standard operating procedures, management procedures, test specifications and protocolsAdhere to company safety requirementsDeputise for department Quality Engineer as requiredAny other activities as requested by Supervisor

 

Requirements

B.SC in Science/ Engineering/ QA or related disciplineA minimum of 3 years practical experience required in a quality assurance functionStrong initiative and troubleshooting skills required
