Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will perform quality inspections to ensure products and materials meet standards, print, and specifications. You will conduct quality in-process and final inspections, document issues noticed during testing, and remove products that don’t meet production standards. You will serve as the primary quality resource to operations, interface with quality and operation representatives concerning quality problems, and support Quality Engineers to control the quality hold area and disposition of materials and products.
ResponsibilitiesPerform quality inspections to ensure products and materials meet standards, print, and specifications.Conduct quality in-process and final inspections.Document issues noticed during testing, measurement, or visual inspection.Remove products that don’t meet production standards.Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team and Quality Engineers.Serve as the primary quality resource to operations.Interface with quality and operation representatives concerning quality problems.Support Quality Engineers to control the quality hold area and the disposition of materials and products.Evaluate causes of scrap and work toward the elimination of defects.Coordinate with Operations and direct associates on quality standards.Regular and reliable attendance at work.Essential SkillsAttention to detail.Ability to follow inspection sheets and work instructions.Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.Ability to influence others to follow work instructions, rules, and regulations.Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.Verbal and written communication skills.Dexterity, physical strength, and physical stamina.Conscientious, adaptable, and initiative.Additional Skills & QualificationsStand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs.Experience with hand tools.Ability to read, speak, and understand English.Experience with quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.Experience with basic operation of computer systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic and subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE). The environment can be hectic and fast-paced, hot in the summer, and cold in the winters. The role involves working both independently and in teams of 3-4 people. Workstations are not on an assembly line, and the products built can range in size. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and a company-provided shirt. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours work to avoid Saturdays, although sometimes Saturdays are mandatory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
