Quality Technician
Job Title: Quality Technician 1st ShiftJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for the 1st shift to join our team. This role involves ensuring the safety and quality of ingredients through various laboratory tests. The position operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional on-call Saturdays. Each team member will be assigned a designated Saturday each month for potential on-call duties. Responsibilities + Conduct laboratory tests such as water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity. + Perform environmental swabbing to test for allergens, molds, and other hazards. + Maintain quality documentation by ensuring sanitation, batch records, and product release records are properly completed and filed. Essential Skills + Knowledge of chemistry and biology. + High school diploma. + Eagerness to enter the science field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + No prior lab experience is necessary as training will be provided. Work Environment The work environment is divided between laboratory testing and fieldwork. Half of the shift will be spent in the lab testing products, while the other half will involve retrieving samples and performing line checks. The company produces high-quality chocolate and other ingredients for well-known products. The team is dedicated to training motivated individuals in the quality process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
