**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** We have an immediate opening for a Quality Technician at a metal stamping facility that supports the Automotive and Heavy Equipment industries. In this role, you will ensure that metal parts coming off the press machines meet the quality standards of our customers by using calipers, gauges, and micrometers. This position also requires documentation, so proficiency with computers is essential. **Responsibilities** + Use calipers, gauges, and micrometers to inspect metal parts. + Ensure that all metal parts meet customer quality standards. + Document inspection results accurately using a computer. + Work closely with the production team to address quality issues. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of quality experience in an industrial setting. + Proficiency in using calipers, gauges, and micrometers. + Efficient in computer usage for documentation purposes. + Experience in steel/stamping environments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in quality control and quality assurance. **Why Work Here?** We offer a laid-back culture where teamwork is highly valued. **Employees who maintain perfect attendance and punctuality for an entire week receive an additional $0.25 per hour** . The work environment is loud and not temperature controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. We have a relaxed culture, and everyone works as a team. The facility is unionized under UAW, but not all employees are required to join. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of **Bluffton, Indiana.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.25/hr.
