Description
Confirm product conformance and process capability
Conduct mechanical and electrical testing and inspection/verification to defined specifications for new and existing products, raw material, warranty returns and calibration
Compile and provide test reports with recommendations for improvement
Participate in simple test fixture construction for material, product or process analysis
Perform audits on piece parts, sub-assemblies or completed products for conformance to engineering drawings or established quality standards
Participate/initiate activities within AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, identification of corrective actions
Maintain routine data collection, entry, or reporting to assure product conformance, process capability, or equipment calibration
Set-up and operate a variety of mechanical or electronic measuring equipment, provide support for special processes
Make daily decisions as it pertains to product conformance and process capabilities
Utilize knowledge of blueprint reading and inspection techniques
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred Associate degree and/or ASQ certified quality technician
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of relevant quality experience
Knowledge of inspection techniques and blueprint reading
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
