Quality Technician (Artesia, NM)-Austin Industrial

Austin Industrial, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Quality Technician for our Holly Frontier project in Artesia, NM.
This position requires a Valid Driver's License.
This is an ongoing long-term maintenance position working a 5/8’s schedule. No per diem offered.

Quality Technician

Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and work within the company's quality control standards, procedures, and codes. Monitor compliance to company protocols during production and operations. Perform regular audits to ensure operations adhere to quality standards.
Conduct inspections and reviews to check for conformity in products or processes. Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and audit results.
Complete necessary documentation to comply with internal and external quality standards. Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Carry out various clean-up and maintenance activities to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Wear appropriate personal safety equipment (PPE) and observe safety rules. Perform other tasks as assigned that contribute to the company's quality control efforts.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – High school diploma or equivalent

Experience – 3-5+ years of experience in quality control or assurance, with a focus on industrial maintenance, construction, or turnarounds. Previous experience with quality oversight in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery environment
